In Friday's non-league game, the Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH) football team triumphed over the visiting GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH), by a tally of 44-10.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 5. Washington will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 35-34 non-league loss to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN).
