The Gothenburg Swedes felled the visiting Ogallala Indians football team by a score of 28-11 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Swedes face the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Gothenburg will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Longhorns come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 21-7 non-league loss to Yuma (Yuma, CO).

With the defeat, Ogallala drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-1. Broken Bow lost 12-6 in their recent non-league test against Chadron (Chadron, NE)
