Kentucky High School Football - Scott County prevails Great Crossing
August 29, 2025: Georgetown, KY In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Scott County Cardinals football squad scored a good 42-21 triumph over the Great Crossing Warhawks.
The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Purples come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Bowling Green went down by St. Xavier (Louisville, KY), 27-10, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Warhawks play the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Great Crossing will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 31-18 non-league win over Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, OH).
