Alabama High School Football - Haleyville falls to Tarrant
August 29, 2025: Haleyville, AL 35565 The Tarrant Wildcats were winner over the host Haleyville Lions football squad by a margin of 25-14 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bibb County for a 4A Region 4 outing on Friday, September 5. Tarrant will clash with a Choctaws squad coming off a 36-33 non-league loss to Gordo (Gordo, AL). The Choctaws record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Haleyville drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Curry (Jasper, AL) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region 5 game on Friday, September 5. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 1-1. Curry lost 44-7 in their recent non-league game against Cold Springs (Bremen, AL)
