August 29, 2025: Alexandria, SD 57311 The Hamlin Chargers got by the host Hanson Beavers football team by a score of 29-23 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers face the Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Hamlin will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 36-6 league loss to Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD).
The Beavers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, DeSmet was nipped by Garretson (Garretson, SD), 35-24, in a non-league test.
