Pennsylvania High School Football - Hickory tops USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy]

August 29, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15219

The Hickory Hornets football squad scored 41 points and limited the host USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy] to 24 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conneaut Area for a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Friday, September 5. Hickory will face a Eagles team coming off a 23-13 non-league win over Iroquois (Erie, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

The (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA). The Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Carrick was defeated by Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA), 54-30, in a league test.
