In Friday's non-league match, the host Hobgood Charter Raiders football squad scored a decisive 38-0 triumph over the Triangle Math & Science Tigers.

The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Ambassadors come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Norfolk Christian walloped Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA), 20-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to GRACE Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Triangle Math & Science will play a Eagles team coming off a 37-2 non-league win over Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
