In Friday's non-league outing, the Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA) football squad knocked off the host Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA), by a margin of 31-13.

The Rangers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Eastside for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Nordhoff will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 42-7 non-league loss to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Hoover drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tornados host Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to clash with the Dons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 5.
