Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders (Indianapolis, IN), 14-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Lafayette Central Catholic advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Knights host Logansport (Logansport, IN) to confront the Berries in a non-league match on Friday, September 5. The Berries come into the match with a record of 2-0. Logansport won 54-6 in their recent non-league match against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN)

Coming up next, the Raiders confront the Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 48-35 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Louisville, KY).
