In Friday's non-league game, the McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) football team overcame the host St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY), by a tally of 38-21.

Next, the Eagles clash with the West Philadelphia Speedboys (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 6. McDonogh will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Speedboys come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 40-6 non-league loss to Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE).

With the defeat, St. Anthony's drops to 0-1 on the year. The Friars host University Prep (Rochester, NY) to battle the Griffins in a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. The Griffins enter the game with a record of 0-0.
