North Broward Prep Eagles (Coconut Creek, FL) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 31-14 in a non-league match.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Pembroke Pines Charter (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Jaguars come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Pembroke Pines Charter went down by Coral Springs Charter (Coral Springs, FL), 10-8, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Lions play the Somerset Prep (North Lauderdale, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Westminster Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 13-3 league win over Somerset Academy Key (Deerfield Beach, FL).
