August 29, 2025: Sheffield, IA 50475 The West Fork Warhawks were victorious over the visiting North Butler Bearcats football team by a margin of 21-6 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Warhawks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to BCLUW for a A District 2 outing on Friday, September 5. West Fork will clash with a Comets squad coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, North Butler drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bearcats host South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to face the Warriors in a A District 3 game on Friday, September 5. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-0. South Winneshiek won 42-30 in their recent non-league game against Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA)
