The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC) and the host R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), witnessed North Henderson's football squad edge R-S Central by a tally of 42-37.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Hendersonville nipped West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 39-7, in a non-league battle.

The Hilltoppers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Chesnee for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12.
