Trinity Christian Crusaders (Fayetteville, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Howard Eagles (Wilson, NC), 30-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Trinity Christian advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Crusaders host Covenant Day (Matthews, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, September 19. The Lions come into the match with a record of 1-1.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 60-6 non-league loss to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC).
