Iowa High School Football - Unity Christian thwarted by Sioux Center
August 29, 2025: Orange City, IA 51041 Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA), 28-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sioux Center advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Sheldon (Sheldon, IA) to play the Orabs in a non-league match on Friday, September 5. The Orabs come into the match with a record of 0-1. Sheldon lost 52-7 in their recent non-league battle against West Sioux (Hawarden, IA)
The Knights now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to MOC-Floyd Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Unity Christian will play a Dutchmen team coming off a 30-28 non-league win over Central Lyon/George-Little Rock (Rock Rapids, IA). The Dutchmen record now stands at 1-0.
