August 29, 2025: Carlsbad, NM 88221 Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), 5-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Gadsden moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to clash with the Bulldawgs in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. The Bulldawgs go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Las Cruces 3-3 in their recent non-league outing against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)
Next up, the Cavemen/Cavegirls confront the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Carlsbad will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rockets go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM).
