California High School Football - Destiny Christian Academy sneaks past Menlo-Atherton
August 29, 2025: Sacramento, CA 95827 The Destiny Christian Academy Lions football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Menlo-Atherton Bears to 14 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yuba City for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Destiny Christian Academy will face a Honkers team coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Rosemont (Sacramento, CA). The Honkers record now stands at 2-0.
The Bears (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Acalanes held off Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 14-6, in a non-league outing.
