The Silver Creek Raiders football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Evergreen Valley Cougars to 6 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Homestead for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Silver Creek will face a Mustangs team coming off a 22-14 non-league win over Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The Dons go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
