Nevada High School Football - Foothill tops Reno
August 29, 2025: Reno, NV 89509 The Foothill Cougars football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Reno Huskies to 22 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host San Marin for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Foothill will face a Mustangs team coming off a 27-14 non-league loss to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
The Huskies (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost by Pershing County (Lovelock, NV), 42-7, in a league challenge.
