Illinois High School Football - Grant Community thwarted by Mundelein
August 29, 2025: Fox Lake, IL 60020 Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), 33-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Mundelein improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Niles West (Skokie, IL) to play the Wolves in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Niles West won 27-6 in their recent non-league battle against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL)
The Bulldogs now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbrook North for a non-league match on Saturday, September 6. Grant Community will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 20-14 non-league loss to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
