New Mexico High School Soccer - Highland toppled by Albuquerque Academy
August 29, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Albuquerque Academy moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Chargers travel to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Albuquerque won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
The Hornets now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Mesa for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Highland will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.
