August 29, 2025: Hickory, NC 28601 The Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host University Christian Barracudas (Hickory, NC), 6-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Trojans now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Maiden for a Western Foothills 4A/5A challenge on Tuesday, September 2. Bandys will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, University Christian moves to 0-3 on the year. The Barracudas host Christian Family Academy (Conover, NC) to encounter the Fire in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Fire go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
