Michigan High School Soccer - Manistee toppled by Glen Lake
August 29, 2025: Maple City, MI 49664 Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Manistee Mariners (Manistee, MI), 5-0 in a non-league bout.
The Lakers now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Reed City for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Glen Lake will play a Coyotes squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Kent City (Kent City, MI). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Manistee moves to 2-2 on the year. The Mariners travel to Shelby (Shelby, MI) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Shelby lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Whitehall (Whitehall, MI)
