Minnesota High School Soccer - Southwest Minnesota Christian toppled by Worthington
August 29, 2025: Worthington, MN 56187 Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN), 6-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, Worthington advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Marshall (Marshall, MN) to play the Tigers in a Class A Section 2 bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-2.
With the loss, Southwest Minnesota Christian moves to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles host St. Peter (St. Peter, MN) to play the Saints in a Class A Section 2 bout on Saturday, September 6. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
