The Lincoln Southeast Knights softball squad (Lincoln, NE), was routed 12-3 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE)

With the triumph, Northwest improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Vikings host Pius X (Lincoln, NE) to face the Thunderbolts in a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Pius X lost 6-3 in their recent league bout against Millard South (Omaha, NE)

In their next game, the Knights battle the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs (Papillion, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 29. Lincoln Southeast will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE).
