The Brighter Horizons Academy Stars volleyball squad (Garland, TX), was defeated 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX)

With the win, Berkner improves its record to 8-11 on the season. The Rams travel to Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to meet the Blue Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Blue Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 7-10. Rock Hill lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Allen (Allen, TX)

The Stars now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horn for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Brighter Horizons Academy will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-13.
