Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX) and the host Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA), observed Clifton's volleyball team top Bishop Amat by a count of 2-0.

The Cubs (19-5) will now prepare for their contest against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Azle achieved victory over Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
