Plant Panthers (Tampa, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Orangewood Christian (Maitland, FL). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Orangewood Christian edged Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Saints meet the Oviedo Lions (Oviedo, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Briarcrest Christian will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs, FL).
