August 29, 2025: Winston-Salem, NC 27104 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC), saw Calvary Day School's volleyball squad notch a victory over Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Calvary Day School improves its record to 7-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a NCISAA Piedmont Triad Athletic battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 4-6. High Point Christian Academy won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC)
The Lion now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thales Academy Rolesville for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-7.
