Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) and the visiting Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), observed Patrick Henry's volleyball team hold off Catholic by a count of 2-1.

The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Collegiate (Richmond, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Collegiate was edged by The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Crusaders now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collegiate for a non-league battle on Friday, August 29.
