August 29, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78234 Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX) followers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Sam Houston Hurricanes (San Antonio, TX), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now have a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cotulla for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Cole will play a Cowboys team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Karnes City (Karnes City, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Sam Houston drops to 0-13 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Highlands (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Owls in a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, September 2. The Owls go into the game with a record of 12-8.
