In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Crowley Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Newman Smith Trojans.

The Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals enter the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Richland was beaten by South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
