Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL) and the host Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL), observed Ponte Vedra's volleyball team top Daphne by a tally of 2-0.

The Sharks (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tampa Prep (Tampa, FL). The Terrapins go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Tampa Prep achieved victory over Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gulf Breeze for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. Daphne will face a Dolphins squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL). The Dolphins record now stands at 11-1.
