The Lytle Pirates volleyball squad (Lytle, TX), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX)

With the win, Edinburg improves its record to 16-12 on the season. The Bobcats travel to SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Rough Riders in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 30. The Rough Riders enter the contest with a record of 9-12. SA Roosevelt won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next, the Pirates battle the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Lytle will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Minutemen go into the battle with a 8-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Dilley (Dilley, TX).
