Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC) and the visiting Westminster Catawba Christian Indians (Rock Hill, SC), observed First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest's volleyball team top Westminster Catawba Christian by a count of 3-0.

The Crusaders (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC). The Sabres enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Southside Christian notched a victory over Laurens (Laurens, SC), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians battle the Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Westminster Catawba Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC).
