Fans at Friday's non-league test between the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) and the host Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX), saw Springtown's volleyball squad achieve victory over Huntsville by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Springtown improves its record to 26-5 on the season. The Porcupines travel to Chaparral (Killeen, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 4-11. Chaparral lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Mansfield (Mansfield, TX)

Next, the Hornets meet the Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Huntsville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 9-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX).
