Texas High School Volleyball - Shiner can't hold off King
August 29, 2025: Corpus Christi, TX 78412 In Friday's non-league match, the King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Shiner Comanches (Shiner, TX), by a final score of 2-1.
Coming up next, the Mustangs clash with the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 29. King will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Sandcrabs come into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX).
The Comanches (12-10) will now prepare for their match against Navarro (Geronimo, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 8-11 record. In their last match, Navarro was tipped by St. Joseph (Victoria, TX), 2-0, in a non-league match.
