The Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) volleyball overcame the host Waialua Bulldogs (Waialua, HI), 2-0 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Patriots (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Spring Valley notched a victory over Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Kapolei Hurricanes (Kapolei, HI) in a Oahu West contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Waialua will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA).
