The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Pius XI Catholic Popes (Milwaukee, WI) and the host Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI), saw Pius XI Catholic's volleyball squad nudge Turner by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Pius XI Catholic improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Popes host Greendale (Greendale, WI) to meet the Panthers in a Woodland - West contest on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 1-4. Greendale lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Grafton (Grafton, WI)

Next, the Trojans meet the Big Foot Chiefs (Walworth, WI) in a Rock Valley contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Turner will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
