Tennessee High School Soccer - Rhea County overwhelmed by Chattanooga Christian
August 30, 2022: Evensville, TN 37332 The Chattanooga Christian Chargers smashed the host Rhea County Golden Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Chargers now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Webb for a D II-AA East match on Saturday, September 3. Chattanooga Christian will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Rhea County drops to 4-2 on the season. The Golden eagles travel to McMinn County (Athens, TN) to encounter the Cherokees in a non-league match on Thursday, September 1. The Cherokees come into the match with a record of 1-3. McMinn County won 9-0 in their recent non-league match against Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN)
