August 30, 2022: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 The Apex Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Willow Spring Storm to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Panther Creek for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 31. Apex will meet a Catamounts team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 3-2.
The Storm (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Garner gained a win over Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
