The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) and the host Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), saw North Buncombe's volleyball squad nip Owen by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, North Buncombe upgrades its record to 1-5 on the year. The Black Hawks travel to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC) to play the Rockets in a bout on Thursday, September 1. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 1-4. A.C. Reynolds lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)
