Colorado High School Softball - Alameda loses to Platte Canyon
August 30, 2022: Bailey, CO 80421 The Platte Canyon Huskies softball team scored 32 runs and limited the visiting Alameda Pirates to 20 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Platte Canyon moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Huskies host Englewood (Englewood, CO) to clash with the Pirates in a 3A Frontier game on Thursday, September 1. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 2-2. Englewood won 21-3 in their recent non-league game against Aurora Central (Aurora, CO)
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 2. Alameda will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Cowboys come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO).
