In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Covenant Day Lions.

The Lancers (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record.

Next, the Lions clash with the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 1. Covenant Day will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Piedmont (Monroe, NC).
