August 30, 2022: Dexter, GA 31019 The West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) volleyball overcame the visiting Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, West Laurens upgrades its record to 2-7 on the year. The Raiders travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to face the Yellowjackets in a 4A Area 3 outing on Thursday, September 1. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Southeast Bulloch won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Brunswick (Brunswick, GA)
The Knights now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Tattnall Square Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. Upson-Lee will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-8.
