Kentucky High School Soccer - Nelson County held off by Bethlehem
August 30, 2023: Bardstown, KY 40004 The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY) and the visiting Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY), saw Bethlehem's soccer squad get by Nelson County by a margin of 1-0.
The Eagles/Banshees now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host South Oldham for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Bethlehem will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Assumption (Louisville, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Nelson County drops to 5-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY) to meet the Generals in a District 19 test on Wednesday, September 6. The Generals come into the test with a record of 2-5.
