August 30, 2023: Bloomington, IL 61705 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Streator/Woodland Bulldogs (Streator, IL) and the host Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL), saw Streator/Woodland's soccer squad triumph over Cornerstone Christian by a margin of 8-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lisle for a Illinois Central Eight test on Thursday, August 31. Streator/Woodland will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Cornerstone Christian drops to 0-3 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Herscher (Herscher, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 2.
