August 30, 2023: Grosse Ile, MI 48138 Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils face the Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI) in a Huron challenge, on Wednesday, September 6. Grosse Ile will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 1-1 league Milan (Milan, MI).
The Bears now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huron for a Huron challenge on Wednesday, September 6. Jefferson will face a Chiefs team coming off a 8-0 league win over Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-1.
