Georgia High School Softball - Grayson bounces Walnut Grove
August 30, 2023: Loganville, GA 30052 Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), 16-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Brookwood for a 7A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, August 31. Grayson will battle a Broncos squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Broncos record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Walnut Grove falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host East Hall (Gainesville, GA) to battle the Vikings in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, August 31. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. East Hall lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA)
