The Brewer Patriots football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Priceville Bulldogs to 6 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guntersville for a 5A Region 8 test on Friday, September 6. Brewer will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 23-19 non-league win over Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Priceville drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Ardmore (Ardmore, AL) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Region 7 test on Friday, September 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Ardmore won 29-0 in their recent non-league test against Clements (Athens, AL)
